The staff of the Editorial board of the journal “Strategies for Policy in Science and Education” warmly and sincerely congratulates their Kazakhstan colleague Maira Kabakova, the professor at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty, Kazakhstan), who is a member of the editorial board of our journal, with awarding her the title of “Best Teacher of the University – 2017” and a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that 200 people from 53 higher educational institutions of the country became holders of the title “Best Teacher of the University – 2017”.

In total 459 applicants from 79 higher educational institutions of the Republic participated in the Competition.

Scientific and pedagogical activity of teachers was evaluated on such qualitative and quantitative indicators as the development, participation and publication of textbooks, monographs, teaching aids in English; availability of a certificate of successful completion of the course on the basis of a platform of mass open online courses in a foreign language for professional activities, etc.

This grant gives an opportunity for university professors to undergo internships at leading universities in the world with a view to conducting research and development work.

Speaking about Professor Maira Kabakova, it should be noted that she graduated from the Psychology Department of St. Petersburg State University in 1992. Specialist in the field of family psychology and marriage, social psychology. Author of 250 scientific and educational works, including more than 130 scientific publications devoted to problems of marriage and family relations, including monographs and articles in rating journals. Maira Kabakova is a multiple winner of the Fair of Social Ideas and Projects, head of economic projects, participant of State programs on translating the classics of world psychological literature into the Kazakh language. She is known as a good specialist, a deep researcher, an interesting lecturer, an excellent organizer. She enjoys the well-deserved respect of students, colleagues and leadership of the department, faculty, university.

We are pleased that our colleague, Professor Maira Kabakova has become one of the best teachers of the University. We wish her further creative success, interesting projects and new victories.

НОВОЕ ПРИЗНАНИЕ ДЛЯ ПРОФ. МАЙРЕ КАБАКОВОЙ

Коллектив редколлегии журнала «Strategies for Policy in Science and Education / Стратегии на образователната и научната политика» горячо и сердечно поздравляет своего коллегу из Казахстана – Майру Кабакову, профессора Казахского национального университета им. аль-Фараби (г. Алматы, Казахстан), являющегося членом редколлегии нашего журнала, с присвоением ей звания «Лучший преподаватель вуза 2017 года» и гранта Министерства образования и науки Республики Казахстан.

Следует отметить, что обладателями звания «Лучший преподаватель вуза 2017 года» стали 200 человек из 53 высших учебных заведений страны. Всего в Конкурсе участвовали 459 претендентов из 79 высших учебных заведений Республики.

Научно-педагогическая деятельность преподавателей оценивалась по таким качественным и количественным показателям как разработка, участие и издание учебников, монографий, учебных пособий на английском языке; наличие сертификата об успешном прохождении обучения по курсу на базе платформы массовых открытых онлайн курсов на иностранном языке по профессиональной деятельности и т.д. Данный грант дает возможность преподавателям вузов пройти стажировку в ведущих университетах мира с целью проведения научно-исследовательских работ и повышения квалификации.

Говоря о профессоре Майре Кабаковой необходимо отметить, что она закончила факультет психологии Санкт-Петербургского государственного университета в 1992 году. Специалист в области психологии семьи и брака, социальной психологии. Автор 250 научных и учебно-методических работ, в том числе более 130 научных публикаций, посвященных проблемам брачно-семейных отношений, включая монографии и статьи в рейтинговых журналах. Майра Кабакова – неоднократный победитель Ярмарки социальных идей и проектов, руководитель хоздоговорных проектов, участник Государственных программ по переводу классики мировой психологической литературы на казахский язык. Ее знают как хорошего специалиста, глубокого исследователя, интересного лектора, прекрасного организатора. Она пользуется заслуженным уважением студентов, коллег и руководства кафедры, факультета, университета.

Мы рады, что наша коллега, профессор Майра Кабакова вошла в число лучших преподавателей вуза. Желаем ей дальнейших творческих успехов, интересных проектов и новых побед!
