THE SCHOOL IN THE GLOBAL VILLAGE
Vocational School of Agriculture “Stefan Tsanov” – city of Knezha, is a school with 110 years history. It was created in a rich agricultural region to meet the needs of highly developing agriculture sector. The school teaches students in the following specialties: Plant Protection and Agro chemistry; Mechanization of Agriculture, Agro ecology and organic farming.
Vocational School of Agriculture is members of ENTER since 2008. In 2010 in Dijon – France, it participated at a members meeting with a main theme: “Staff training for implementing change in vocational education”. The vocational school was presented by its principal Svetlana Kalapisheva. The English language teacher Nikolina Koynarska reported on “Citizenship and communication” theme.
In 2012 in Plovdiv in the ENTER Study Days the school participated with a paper, entitled: “Extracurricular activities in school nowadays” presented by the principal Svetlana Kalapisheva and the teacher Nikolina Koynarska. The organic farming teacher Malina Spassova presented the “AgroCalendar”.
In 2014 the school took part in the next ENTER Study Days in the Netherlands.
Svetlana Kalapisheva and Nikolina Koynarska submitted a report on the topic “Relationship of students with real academic environment”.
These study days aim to involve more schools from Europe and even from other continents that deal with agricultural education, contribute to the exchange of experience, innovation and creativity and ever greater standardization of agricultural training in Europe.
The team of vocational school of agriculture “Stefan Tsanov” believes that in future ENTER will become more helpful not only for all participants, but also for all countries in Europe. As this is the foundation of the world and develops a global village.
