MEMBERSHIP IN ENTER OR HOW TO ACQUIRE CREATIVE BEHAVIOR AND INNOVATIVE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

“Vasil Levski” Vocational High School of Agriculture in Parvomai has been a member of ENTER since 2011.

The main motive inspiring us to make this decision was the need of introducing innovative knowledge and experience that today’s teachers can give to the modern students. That’s why we chose ENTER as a partner because its work contributes the creativeness and innovation in teaching students in agricultural schools. The vocational school actively takes part in all events organized by ENTER.

In 2012 two teachers presented some good practices of their participation together with some students in national competitions and contests.

In 2013 four teachers participated in training. The theme was “Interactive training” with lecturers from ENTER.

In 2014 the headmaster and two teachers visited The Netherlands during ENTER study days.

In November 2014 four teachers participated again in training for young assistants, teachers and students in pedagogics from Agrarian University – Plovdiv, in the field of interactive training.

In The Netherlands we visited ST OAS University in Wageningen and Vocational School in Meppel for teacher training in the field of agriculture. There we expected to get some ideas for innovative practices of colleagues from other European countries and to adapt them to our conditions as far as possible.

We understood, in comparison of the traditional forms of studying, the innovative methods of approach turn the students into an active participant in the teaching process and put them in the centre of the educational interaction. We strive for including the students in the studying process to show them that their part is important to all of us.

We seek to include the ecological education and thinking in the process of studying. And last but not least, we aim to come up the education to the business needs at the most like The Netherlands as we get into various contacts with the local business organizations.
