ENVIRONMENT AND INNOVATION
ENTER is again on the top, challenging its members with ideas – "How to Use the Environment to Achieve Innovative Competences?"
We are on the threshold of another event, which gathers the most active consortium’s members to discuss the efficient methods, tools and approaches in different innovative learning environment – ENTER study day - Wageningen, 2014.
The term "Innovative Learning Environment" means much more than a classroom. To realize an efficient modern vocational training, we need to get more companies and institutions involved in the learning process, where students will do their practices, school yards, networks, digital blended learning environments, schools and so on.
The theme of the Study Days, organized in Wageningen, The Netherlands, is called "How to Achieve the Environment to Develop Innovative Competences". The idea is to get in touch with the participants and have dialogues and workshops about innovations in didactical approaches in the classroom, innovations in land based school organizations and probably most important in the authentic field of companies, labour market, etc. Connecting different worlds is becoming more and more important and asks for specific competences. Participants will have the chance to demonstrate and observe examples of different learning environments, both on classroom-level and in the field. In interactive sessions will be connected innovations, educational approaches and experiences of the participants in different countries.
The center of the event is Wageningen, which is a very innovative place in The Netherlands in the field of learning and agriculture.
STOAS has moved to a modern building (an example of a learning environment). The idea is to organize a plenary session and excursion in the context of innovative learning environments. On the first day we start a real interactive workshop session in different parallel groups. Topics in the workshops will have a direct connection with the main theme of the Study Days.
The event will be opened with a Welcome speech by Mrs. Madelon de Beus – Director of STOAS, Mr. Arie de Jong and Mr. Jan-Willen Noom. The first day of ENTER Study Days will continue with four parallel sessions “How to Study in Innovative Environment”:
– Innovative learning in my classroom
– Innovative learning in my organization (institutions)
– Innovative learning in my environment (work, business)
– Connecting different environments to learn
Participants can present their ideas and projects either though verbal presentations or posters.
On the second day of the event are scheduled visits to various innovative learning environments:
– Dronten University of Applied Sciences;
– Greenport Venlo;
– Groenhorst Barneveld VET.
At the end of the day - during a Workshop, will be provided analyses and synthesis of the results.
And more attractive events are foreseen for the third day – the General Assembly, dialogue about future projects, visit to the National Park.
Bulgarian presence is quite respectful.
